United by Kindness, Keeping the Spirit of Warmth Alive--Singapore Zhongyuan Association Holds Heartwarming Charity Appreciation Dinner

Sometimes, the significance of a gathering goes beyond mere festivity. It is more like a gesture of gratitude—a response to the support we’ve received along the way, to the quiet acts of kindness, and to the most precious warmth that exists between people.

On the evening of May 26, 2026, the Singapore Zhongyuan Association Charity Appreciation Banquet was held in the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the Pinchao Xuan restaurant at Zuihualin. Guests from all walks of life, corporate representatives, and philanthropists who have long supported charitable causes gathered together to share an evening filled with gratitude and love.

The event was honored to have Mr. Dinesh Vasu Dash, Minister of State for Culture, Community and Youth and Manpower, Mayor of the Southeast District, and Grassroots Organization Advisor for the East Coast Group Representation Constituency (Bukit Batok), as the guest of honor at the dinner, where he joined the guests in celebrating this gathering of love and goodwill.

As the dinner began, guests arrived one after another and mingled, creating a warm and lively atmosphere throughout the venue.

Everyone discussed public welfare, community outreach, and the future direction of philanthropy, and they also looked back on the many public welfare and community events the Zhongyuan Association had participated in over the past few months. This appreciation dinner served as a continuation of and a thank-you for the charitable activities held this past March.

Under the leadership and organization of Mr. Fan Ziping of the Zhongyuan Association in Singapore, the association has consistently been actively involved in public welfare, charity, and community outreach, hoping to bring love and warmth to the community through more concrete actions.

Following that, several guests took the stage to deliver speeches, sharing their perspectives on philanthropy and social responsibility with the audience.

Mr. Liang Xinjun, Senior Advisor at Centaline Property Singapore, took the stage first to deliver a speech, expressing his gratitude to friends who have long supported charitable causes and expressing his hope that more compassionate individuals will come together in the future to participate in social welfare initiatives.

Next, Mr. Shi Yunding, Managing Director of Moutai House and representative of the event’s exclusive sponsor, took the stage to share his thoughts, expressing the company’s original mission and responsibility to participate in charitable causes and give back to society.

Mr. Dineesi, the guest of honor, then took the stage to deliver a speech. He commended the Zhongyuan Association for its long-standing participation in community service and charitable activities, and encouraged more social organizations to continue contributing to community development and spreading kindness.

One of the most touching moments of the evening was the presentation of the Charity Contribution Award.

The “Charity Contribution Award,” “Outstanding Charity Contribution Award,” and “Excellence in Charity Contribution Award” were presented at the event to express gratitude to the generous individuals and corporate partners who have long supported charitable causes.

The winners of the first phase include:

Chai Jie, Wang Tao, Wu Xiangjiu, He Liqin, Huang Shunliang, Fang Fang, Zheng Xiaoxiao, Zheng Jianfeng, Tang Min, Feng Chen, Song Zhuowei, Chen Ning, Wang Qiufang, Chen Kai, Yang Zhibing, Hu Hai, Li Jianyong, Wang Haibin, Liu Shuzhe, Jiang Lianghui, Dai Guangrong, as well as Yang Mu and Xiao Ying from the Zhejiang General Chamber of Commerce, Liu Yanghe and Zhang Chunhua from the Tianfu Association, Ming Min and Wang Gang from the Shaanxi Association, and Chen Liping from the Tianjin Association, among other distinguished guests, were awarded the “Charitable Contribution Award.” In addition, Mr. Shi Yunding and Mr. Wang Yuanming were awarded the “Outstanding Charitable Contribution Award.”

As the dinner progressed, the atmosphere grew increasingly warm. While dining and chatting, everyone shared their experiences and feelings about participating in charitable activities.

During the second round of the awards ceremony, guests including Jia Weibin, Qian Jingyuan, Guo Lijun, Liu Wei, Hou Jian, Yu Xiaorong, Zhao Xiaodan, Zhang Chunsheng, Hou Zelong, Shen Huifang, Gao Huazhi, Chen Liyuan, Zhang Lifeng, Zhang Heng, and Duan Shuaijun were honored with the “Charity Contribution Award.”

Li Jun, Li Hong, Zhao Tianxing, and Yang Jinfeng were awarded the “Outstanding Philanthropic Contribution Award.”

In addition to the awards ceremony, there was another particularly heartwarming moment that evening. Mr. Li Honglei, a local Singaporean artist and ambassador for traditional Chinese culture, created a painting on the spot and invited Ms. Wang Xiaopei, Founding President of the Zhongyuan Association, and Mr. Wang Yanbin, Executive Vice President of the Zhongyuan Association, to join him in coloring it. A work depicting “gratitude, companionship, and love” was gradually completed right there on the spot.

Zhongyuan will then present this specially commissioned painting to Mr. Dinesh as a token of appreciation for his longstanding support of community service and charitable causes.

During the final segment of the evening, the “Outstanding Philanthropic Contribution Award” was presented to guests including Han Xiao, Su Jianbin, Lin Zhen, and Wang Jiancheng.

In addition, although some well-wishers were unable to attend due to work commitments, their kindness and support remain in everyone’s hearts.

Guests including Liang Guangbin, Hai Yue, Jiang Bin, Zhang Xin, Wang Hui, Yang Changgang, Shi Xun, Cao Hui, Li Feizhou, Yuan Xingwei, Li Mingyu, Dong Zhiwei, and Wen Wei were awarded the “Charity Contribution Award”; Wang Huijun, Zhou Shuzhen, Yang Xuemei, Zhong Guanbin, and Geng Jiahong were awarded the “Outstanding Charity Contribution Award”; Ma Xiaoyun, Huang Haitao, Liu Guocai, Qiao Yuhua, You Zhenhua, Hu Junhui, and Song Jianbo were awarded the “Excellence in Philanthropy Award.”

The Zhongyuan Association will also arrange for a representative to deliver the awards to each winner in person as a token of our sincere gratitude.

Throughout the entire dinner, there was no over-the-top fanfare, yet it exuded a genuine and natural warmth.

Some met through charitable work, some joined forces out of goodwill, and for others, this evening only strengthened their resolve to keep spreading love.

Charity is never the work of a single person; rather, it is a ray of light kindled by a group of people, each in their own way.

In the future, Centaline Singapore will continue to participate in more charitable and community outreach activities, rallying more compassionate support to keep spreading this warmth.
