Starting with a single tomato, we glimpse another possibility for modern agriculture
The moment you step into the greenhouse, the air is filled with the sweet, fresh scent of fruit. Red tomatoes, yellow watermelons, and green cucumbers grow in neat rows, resembling a carefully designed “agricultural space.”
Recently, led by Mr. Fan Ziping of the Zhongyuan Association in Singapore, a delegation of the association’s presidents visited the Luoyang Nongfa Modern Agricultural Industrial Park, embarking on a unique agricultural tour. This trip was not merely about observing agriculture; rather, it was a glimpse into what the future of agriculture might look like.
A Tour of the Park | Agriculture Can Be “Beautiful”

Many people still think of agriculture as simply “working in the fields.” But the Nongfa Agricultural Industrial Park shatters that perception at first glance.
This place feels more like a space that blends production, experience, and daily life: clean, orderly, and even a bit stylish.
Located in Mengjin District, Luoyang, the park covers a planned area of over 600 mu. From the very beginning, it has been designed not merely as a farming operation, but as a modern agricultural complex.
It’s not just about farming—it’s about “building a complete industry”

Throughout the presentation, one term came up repeatedly—“the Ten-in-One.”
Not only do we grow agricultural products here, but we also integrate: agriculture + research + recreation + education + experiential activities + wellness + logistics……
In other words, a single piece of land has been developed into an entire industrial chain. That is why it resembles an “agricultural project” rather than just a farm.
The most interesting thing is these “photo-worthy agricultural products”

The place where everyone spent the most time was the greenhouse. Why? It’s simple—it was just so beautiful.
✔ Sweet-and-sour tomatoes—they taste just like fruit with every bite
✔ Rainbow watermelon, with distinct color layers and a striking visual appeal
✔ Fruit cucumber, crisp and naturally sweet
These are no longer merely “agricultural products”; they are products that can be experienced, shared, and enjoyed as a premium experience. Behind this lies a fundamental shift taking place in agriculture: from “selling quantity” to “selling quality and experience.”
Behind agriculture lies the support of technology

Many people view agriculture as a “traditional industry,” but here—that’s not the case at all. The park leverages the research capabilities of institutions such as Henan Agricultural University, the Henan Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and Henan University of Science and Technology to continuously optimize every aspect of the process, from cultivation to management.
In other words, modern agriculture is about technology and systems, not physical labor.
A conversation is also a new way of thinking

During the ensuing discussion, the topic that came up most frequently wasn’t just agriculture itself, but a more practical question: Can agriculture become a “profitable business” in the future?
From a field perspective, the answer is clear: when agriculture is combined with technology, branding, and the customer experience, its value proposition is being redefined.
The significance of this visit goes beyond simply “seeing”

This visit to the Nongfa Agricultural Industrial Park has given everyone a glimpse of an emerging trend: agriculture is evolving from a “foundational industry” into a new sector that is “scalable, innovative, and capable of connecting resources.”
For the Zhongyuan Association, these visits are not merely opportunities for exchange; they are also a way to continually expand the boundaries of our understanding and explore new possibilities.
